Autodesk Game Industry Icons tour

Autodesk 3D solutions are the creative tools for developing breakthrough next-generation games, including High Moon?s Darkwatch and EA?s Need for Speed: Underground 2. Autodesk has a 3D games solution that plays well with any workflow. From the latest blockbuster film tie-ins to the next racing tour de force, 3ds Max, Maya, and MotionBuilder software products are unbeatable as game developers continue to push the envelope and step up to next-generation challenges. As part of its Games Super User Tour, Autodesk is proud to present Neil Eskuri, Senior Art Director from Electronic Arts (EA), Randy Stebbing, Lead Technical Artist from High Moon Studios, and Michel Kripalani, Autodesk Senior Games Industry Manager.

Next-generation game consoles bring incredible development challenges with them. EA?s Neil Eskuri will give an insider?s perspective on outsourcing 3D animation development, as well as using tools like 3ds Max and Maya to create the latest Need for Speed release, Carbon.

Randy Stebbing will lead a visual tour through High Moon?s creative process, including discussion on the best practices in creating high-fidelity animation for next-generation consoles and the benefits of using mixed pipelines made up of tools such as 3ds Max, MotionBuilder and Maya.

Autodesk?s Senior Games Industry Manager Michel Kripalani will discuss how tools make a difference in overcoming the challenges of next-generation content creation, and how, in order to survive, developers have had to change old work habits and adopt new techniques as a way to maximise efficiencies out of their creative pipelines.
