Company

Kotaku AU have a great set of interviews with the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) which is based in Sydney. AFTRS are launching some new games courses next year, with applications closing on the November 7th, just a week away!

Also worth mentioning is that the Game Jam 08 games pitch and demo event is on this weekend at AFTRS! Click here to find out more!

The two people interviewed by Kotaku are Gary Hayes, the Founding Head of LAMP and the main man behind the Virtual Worlds course, and Ian Brown, lecturer in animation and visual effects.

The interview offers a great insight into what AFTRS will offer students, with a lot of info on the new courses, what students should be ready for, as well as their thoughts on some of the current issues in games. Well worth checking out!
