Wargaming Sydney is looking for a talented Product Manager to join our development team creating cutting edge software products for the Wargaming portfolio of games. As the Product Manager you will provide vision and strategy for the products in your portfolio; you will identify new opportunities for the studio and ensure stellar communication with our partners. Your work will impact millions of players around the world, bringing them fun, excitement and delight.

Product Director

What will you do?
Your responsibilities will include market research, liaising with business intelligence, establishing requirements and success metrics, building a product vision, execution strategy and roadmap for software products.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a product management background in software technology or video games.
You’ve a clairvoyant sense for understanding customer needs and strong problem-solving ability to craft solutions to solve their problems.
Analytical, with a strong data driven mindset.
Ability to inspire the team to build amazing products with a constant dedication to understand, question and improve.
Strong communication, listening & presentation skills (verbal and written)
Possess strong negotiation and influencing skills.
What additional skills will help you stand out?
A technical background is a benefit given the nature of the products we create.
Experience in taking a software product from inception, through to pitching, development and into live service is a huge plus.

Based in Henderson, Auckland, Grinding Gear Games is looking for a concept artist to work on the 'dark and gritty' Path of Exile. You will develop concept art and work to maintain a consistent aesthetic across the game and related mediums such as trailers and web. The ideal candidate has a firm grasp of colour, texture, composition and anatomy as it relates to games. We are looking for an avid gamer that has a deep understanding of our game Path of Exile and its themes.

Requirements:

5 year of concept work in games
Superior eye for lighting, value, colour, details, and the ability to use them in creating realistic, gritty and visually appealing imagery.
Self-motivation and self-reliance; ability to research and learn new tools quickly.
Excellent communications skills, and able to work within a team.
Passion for creating 'dark and gritty', environments, items, characters and monster designs.
Deep understanding of the game we produce (Path of Exile).

Portfolio, and/or reel demonstrating relevant artistic skills required

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Grinding Gear Games is searching for a VFX Artist to work on the award-winning online Action RPG Path of Exile.

You will develop realtime effects from concept to implementation and work to maintain a consistent aesthetic across all of the effects in the game and related mediums such as trailers and web. The ideal candidate has a firm grasp of color, texture, timing and impact as relates to FX. We are looking for an avid gamer that has a deep understanding of our game Path of Exile and its themes.

Requirements:
2 year of effects work in games.
3 year of relevant art education.
Good understanding of shaders as they relate to VFX.

You will create real-time environments and moods, and work to maintain a consistent aesthetic across all of the areas in the game and related material (e.g. trailers). The ideal candidate has a firm grasp of color, materials and light as it relates to level design in games. We are looking for an avid gamer that has a deep understanding of our game Path of Exile and its themes.

Requirements:
1 year of lighting experience in games, or 5 years of work experience in a related field (e.g. movies or special effects).
Understanding how to create efficient and impactful lighting that enhances narratives.
Maintain and ensure optimised performance related to lighting.
Experience with Physically Based Rendering tools like Substance Designer and Marmoset Toolbag.
General understanding and ability to create cube maps, shaders and materials.
Working knowledge of Maya and real-time game authoring environments like Unreal engine.
Self-motivation and self-reliance. Ability to research and learn new tools quickly.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for creating dark and gritty levels and sets.
Deep understanding of the game we produce (Path of Exile).

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Grinding Gear Games is searching for a Senior Animator to work on the award-winning online Action RPG Path of Exile.

A Senior Animator is responsible for creating animation assets and working with the Creative Director, Designers and Riggers to realise a character, monster or special effect.

Requirements:
5 years of animation experience.
Solid body mechanics and experience animating general combat, melee weapons and magic for both human, animals and abstract monsters.
Proven experience in a professional production pipeline and the ability to create high-quality animations.
Strong knowledge of Maya.
The ability to take constructive criticism and maintain a professional attitude.
Independently self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.

Portfolio and/or animation reel are required
Must be willing to complete an art test if requested to do so
