Ah hell there must be a couple of games artist jobs left in Australia. Anyone going to this to outsource the last of our industry off shore?

In conjunction with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Screen Australia is offering travel grants of up to $2,500 for producers with advanced projects to attend the upcoming Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Frames Convention in Mumbai, 14–16 March 2012.

Frames is a three-day event for broadcast, digital entertainment, animation and gaming with nearly 2,000 Indian and 800 foreign delegates expected to attend.

Television, animation or documentary producers and digital and mobile content creators who are seeking to expand upon existing relationships in India, potential co-production, investment and sales opportunities, or who are wanting to learn more about the Indian market are encouraged to apply.

Applicants will need to provide a strong market strategy outlining their argument for attendance, desired outcomes and a demonstrated understanding of the market. Preference will be given to applicants who have at least one project in advanced development suitable for this market.
