Exciting Programming Positions at Play-Bit Entertainment

Location

We’re currently seeking two skilled, experienced programmers to join the Play-Bit Entertainment team for the positions of Game Programmer and Online Integration Programmer. Play-Bit Entertainment is a company based in Melbourne and we’ve been hard at work on developing our first commercial game to release which is due later this year. Our initial focus is on creating small, highly polished social games for online portals like Facebook and Google+.

Our upcoming game has been funded by Film Victoria and we’re currently working with an international publisher to market and release the game over Facebook. We’re seeking two programmers to compliment our current permanent team to support the game after its release and to develop new projects in the near future. Play-Bit is offering the right people a substantial and generous stake in the profits and direction of the company.

These positions should be considered by those in the industry looking to help build-up a studio that already has a product geared for success.

We’re looking for both programmers to start work as soon as possible and for an initial commitment of about 4 months. The position will fluctuate from Full-Time to Part-Time given factors related to development.

I cannot stress enough how much we’re looking for developers who are seeking to help rebuild the local industry by being part of a studio focusing in an exciting sector of the games industry.

Please send your expressions of interest and any supporting assets to chriswatts@playbitent.com
