So, seems we are needing some more people to work on both high profile licensed products as well as original titles for current gen consoles and handhelds with a smattering of next gen thrown in.

We will need a bunch of different people over the medium and longer term so anyone is welcome to apply, but below are our specific short term requirements (we especially need coders)

Senior Programmer

Required experience profile

University Computer Science degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years games industry experience including work on at least one published console title
Strong C++ programming and math skills
Extensive experience in software engineering, and object oriented design and programming techniques
Thorough understanding of the game production process
Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in developing AI, 3D graphics, networking, and/or physics game systems beneficial
Team management experience desirable but not required

Programmer

Required experience profile

University Computer Science degree or equivalent
Strong C++ programming and math skills
Understanding of object oriented design and programming techniques
Comfortable working in a managed team environment
Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good communication skills
Professional game development experience desirable but not required
Knowledge of AI, 3D graphics, sound, or physics principles beneficial
Experience in large, team based software projects preferred

3D Modeller/Texturer

Required experience profile

Strong ability to produce realistic and stylistic 3D models and textures
Intuitive understanding of all modelling/texturing principles such as polygonal efficiency, good UV layout, and texture reuse
Can consistently produce high quality models and textures
Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Comfortable working in a managed team environment
Good communication skills
Professional game development experience desirable but not required
Good working knowledge of Maya and Photoshop required
Strong traditional art skills required

Programmers should supply a full CV and examples of C++ source code. Animators and modellers should supply a full CV and showreel on VHS, DVD, or CDROM. Candidates should send their application to jobs@sidhe.co.nz or
