About the role

You will be developing and embedding Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality into selected TAFE Digital products to enhance educational learning products and solutions, as well as the overall learning experience across a variety of industries and disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
Test, develop, design, and create Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality experiences for integration into TAFE Digital teaching and learning resources.
Collaborate with the Digital Learning Lab team on internal design, reviews, demonstrations and external communications, leveraging Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality knowledge and innovations in technology.
Produce intuitive and compelling user interface design concepts and media components for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality devices.
Execute interaction design and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, operating collaboratively with other specialists.
Combine technical and creative skills to develop functioning and engaging immersive student experiences.
Work as part of a team to document best practices pertaining to Augmented Reality.
Integrate products into TAFE Digital teaching and learning resources and test usability.
Drive improvements in usability and interactivity.

Essential Requirements
Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

Technology Requirements
Minimum 3 Years AR/VR, game development or similar industry experience
Computer Science, Software Engineering or closely related degree.
Advanced knowledge of Unity3D
Strong C# and Python Experience

We are looking for a Game Programmer to come to New Zealand and join our growing team building a robot-disintegrating science fiction experience.

As a Game Programmer at Magic Leap, you will be a part of the core game development team, working in close conjunction with other game programmers, designers and content creators to implement engaging and compelling gameplay systems, proprietary toolsets and in-game features.
