Requirements:

  • Exceptional programming talent - coding comes naturally.

SENIOR UNITY 3D PROGRAMMER

Hackett Films is looking for expressions of interest* for a senior programmer who knows Unity 3D. They need to have a least 2 years experience working with mobile apps across different platforms (Android and iOS),*worked at least 2 years at a game company*with experience as a project leader

The project is a mobile (& online) game for 8-*12 year olds teaching them fun ways to learn Maths.
Users interact with mechanical robots and a DJ character to learn and solve mathematics problems
Job Responsibilities
• Leading the development team and overseeing the whole project
• Communicate with designers to establish pipeline and integrate media assets.
• The design and development of mobile technologies that leverage the benefits of various technologies such as OpenGL, Unity3d,* and Java.

Skills and Requirements
• Excellent understanding of C#, Unity3d, game development methodologies, and intensive 3D graphics development.
• Experience building mobile games from scratch.
• At least 2+ years of working experience in developing consumer facing games and products.

The position is for approximately 5 months starting ASAP

An independent Australian game company is seeking an experienced HTML5 developer to assist in building browser-based games.

Principal Duties:
• Building new browser-based games in HTML5
• Modifying existing HTML5 games and building new games on existing architecture
• Assisting the Technical Director in determining time estimates and technical plans

Experienced Unity Programmer / Melbourne, Australia

Minicades Mobile are looking for an experienced Unity Programmer to help us on a 3 week project in February. We have an existing project we would like you to bring to completion. You will need to be fluent in C# and confident you can look through existing code to integrate assets and make changes. Working remote is fine, ideally you are based in Melbourne so that we can meet in person.

You will need:

  • Experience developing iOS games in Unity
  • Working in small teams
  • An understanding of integrating rigged/animated 3D characters
  • NGUI and Prime31 plugin experience also useful

It is a short term contract with a view for future work for the right applicant. You will be working with our front-end designer, 3D animator and project manager. We are looking for someone to slot right into our team and potentially work with us more in the future!
