  • I have been sketching some quadruped vehicles recentily (a topic that I have not had a lot of practice with.) I am also experimenting with colouring techniques > Aiming for a fast technique that helps to describe the forms/volumes, and matches my sketchy pencil work. I might submit this image in the forum too as I would appreciate feedback/crit's.
  • You can hide under the bed for only so long... It has been quite some time since I last shared my illustration work with a audience! This one was done for the 2D quick activities. I have been getting into character sketches recentily and have started experimenting with adding colour to sketches with photoshop.

Blitz took out first place for the Micro Fort? Programming Awards and will receive an all expenses paid trip to the Game Developers Conference held in San Jos?, USA in March 2004. Photos can be found here. Video can be found here. List of Awards can be found here.

It's probably at it's most quiet during the period between Christmas and New Years Eve, so I guess now is a pretty good time to summerise the highlights for the local industry in 2003, as well as comment on what Sumea Launchpad has achieved in the last 12 months. It may be a bit long winded, but hopefully a few of you will find it a little bit interesting! In any case, it'll be a good chance for me to let…
