Of course, the sensible thing would be to use an existing game engine, but after a certain point, there is some curiosity if learning and fighting yet another game engine is really quicker that just writing something from scratch.

Tantalus have revealed their E3 line up, with 4 titles to be seen at the show. They include Top Gear Rally, Monster Truck Madness, Woody Woodpecker in Crazy Castle 5 (for the Gameboy Advance), and Metal Shell for PS2 and Xbox.

I found this on Ausgamers, which has reported that Infogrames may be ditching that title, and going with the Atari name for all their releases.. Atari Melbourne House has a nicer ring to it, I think! ;)
