  • ok, I'm doing a test post to see if I can see why news posts are saving with the dates in YY/MM/DD format, instead of DD/MM/YY. I haven't done anything to the site code recently, so I'm stumped as to why this is happening now.. This seems to be affecting all news and member news posts :( argh!!! I hope it's a server thing.. ** update - it's definately a server thing.. waiting on it to get fixed.. *** - ok.. all fixed now!!

  • Irrational Games has an official website for their eagerly waited title The Lost! Have a look at www.thelost.com ! At the moment, only the two outer rings contain content (You'll see what I mean when you have a look), but there are lots and lots of screenshots and character info there!   • Slashdot has a good discussion thread regarding high end modelling programs (LW, Max, Maya etc) not being too useful for game modellers, as they are "all heavily biased towards doing non-realtime rendering using raytracing or some other technique. While they can be used to make models for realtime 3D hardware, a very large number of their features don't map well onto realtime 3D hardware." What's the solution? read the discussion and find out!
