Of course, the sensible thing would be to use an existing game engine, but after a certain point, there is some curiosity if learning and fighting yet another game engine is really quicker that just writing something from scratch.

Something I'm working on at the moment. The goal is to try improve my sculpting and understanding of anatomy. I'm planning on retopologizing it and texturing it as well because those are things that I also want to improve upon. I will upload the completed sculpt when I'm done with it.
Texturing is my biggest weakness so I decided to create this stylised sword in order to improve my texturing. I created the concept myself, which was a lot of fun. I’ve always been interested in sharks ever since I was young so it was no surprise that I would eventually model one. This was the first time that I sculpted something from scratch in Zbrush and I really enjoyed the experience. The shark wasn’t for any project it was just for personal practice. Overall I am happy with the finished result and I am glad that my texturing is improving.
