Of course, the sensible thing would be to use an existing game engine, but after a certain point, there is some curiosity if learning and fighting yet another game engine is really quicker that just writing something from scratch.
Unfortunately I never got around to finishing these in time for Witchsona Week on Tumblr, but I'm proud of how they came out anyway. No real progress pics for this one - I already had the idea I wanted firmly in mind :D

Composed at Global Game Jam Sydney 2016 that took the entire day to compose. Designed to be looped indefinitely, this version loops twice and cuts to the end/fail state of the music.
The game version pitch shifts constantly upwards increasing speed. This version is the source version that remains at a constant speed.
