First meetup of the year peeps!
Sorry for the late notice but things have been a tad hectic lately and I?m not entirely sure that the Christmas season was the best time for meetups. The next meetup will be held at the Pavillion Bar (A real Classy, Quiet place with acceptable drink pricing). It?s on the Corner of Edward and Margaret in the Brissie CBD. As always, we will have a reserved seating area (because we?re all such special people!). Its being held on Saturday the 21st of January
If you don?t want to come cause u can?t be bothered to find it, bounce me an email and I will give u better directions (worst case scenario, I will come and ?baby? you from the train station?).
Both myself and Scott will be present and we are hoping to bring along some of our games and source code. I would ask anyone interested in sharing their projects or demos to bring along CDs or thumb drives with run able (that means already compiled, if possible) executables and whatnot. It?s my first step in a new direction for the meetup: Making it more about games (and less, but not too much less, about drinking).
Keep in mind that drinking isn?t mandatory. You are welcome to drink water (available at the bar) or you can just slurp on Coke if you prefer. Just come along and support the local game community. Let?s try and make the BGDM as good as it can be!
No excuses for not coming along! This WILL be the best meetup yet!
