Halfbrick's rapid rise on the Appstore charts with Monster Dash

Brisbane's Halfbrick Studios are definitely on a roll. Following the success of the million-plus selling iPhone / iPod touch / iPad wonder hit, Fruit Ninja, is their latest Apple Appstore game, Monster Dash.

Released just last Thursday, it has managed to snag the #1 paid app position in both Australia and Greece, the #2 spot in the U.S, U.K, Canada, and has broken the top #5 paid app list in most other regions around the world. Not bad for just four days after release.

Also sweetening the deal is the fact that Fruit Ninja, which was released mid April, is still hovering in the Appstore charts with a #3 placing in Australia, and #5 in both the U.S and Canada.

Halfbrick have just retweeted the great news moments ago that Monster Dash has hit the #1 paid app spot in Germany as well. It doesn't look like it will be too long for Monster Dash to hit the million sales milestone, and hopefully they'll have an awesome cake to celebrate that as well!

Great news! It's really nice to see Halfbrick have some well-deserved success. The app market is quite competitive, good for them!
