Have been noticing lately that a few news posts seem to be centered more around consumer-level events in the local industry, rather than on local game development. For example, the release of the Forecast Channel on the Wii is certainly cool, but not really all that relevant to prospective and current developers. Furthermore, a lot of this information is already widely available on other game-related websites.

Personally I think it'd be nice if Sumea retained its identity as a site purely about local and global game development issues, rather than general gaming news.

Am I the only one to notice this? Am I being too picky?? Probably...

Yeh, the console reports for the last few was probably a bit overkill. It's a bit hard to find local game dev related news around this time of the year though. It's usually pretty quiet when it comes to relevant news reports around Christmas.
