Calling all indie developers

As some of you may know, I'm a writer for Hyper, an Australian gaming magazine. At the moment, I'm working on a feature about how one would go about getting into the games industry and I want to touch on the indie development scene. Essentially, I want to find out what it's like to develop your own game and the sort of skills you'd need.

I would like to have a chat with one or more people who have or are working on indie projects. Bonus points if you've since gone on (or are) to work in the games industry. Please note that there's a decent chance that you'll be quoted in the article.

In return, I'll be able to work in at the very least link to your project or team site.

What about the other way around?

People in the games industry that are working on indie titles in addition to their commercial title? I know a few people that are doing that.

If I recall correctly didn't Yahtzee Croshaw do a feature on Gridwerx at the beginning of the year titled something along the lines of Lessons learnt from an indie startup or something... Also in Hyper.

I assume Chris you are taking a different approach to this article? If so may I suggest Gridwerx again? They seem to be a bit quiet at the moment, but someone I know working for them tells me they are full steam ahead.

Another good one would be the guys working on that NightFall mod for HL2 & a indie title. Nigredo Studios I think they are called?
