What is classed as a local developer? Does it have to be on the list of game developers on here? Do you have to make money to be classified as "working".

I guess if you're working in Australia for a local game developer, that should fit the bill.

Guess there are too many permutations if you wanted to include non local counts?

hehe, 1% have worked for 5 or more developers, who can't hold a job down! ...just kidding :P

Charcoal: I think you could safely assume all choices could include '& trying to get back in'.

Well you could have previously worked at companies such as Evolution, RatBag and Auran... three largish Aussie companies off the top of my head that have gone belly up in the last 5 years ><

2 local devs for me.

I've worked for 4 developers in total (over a period of 8 years), but only 2 of them were Aussie.

Thanks for the votes, guys. Some interesting results to come out of it. The initial idea for this came from someone I know who's been in the industry for probably over a decade and has already been with over six game companies. I find it pretty extraordinary that there's a lot of hopping about in this industry.

Time for the next vote.
