ZBrush is a robust tool that allows people to create digital paintings and incredibly detailed 3d characters/creatures. The models and textures created within ZBrush can be exported to a variety of applications for use in the film industry, game industry or 3d visualisation industry.

This short course is aimed at getting artists, 3d artists and designers started with an eye to sculpting 3d characters and models. It has a unique workflow, which will allow people to work in a natural and intuitive way once familiar with the tools.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Introduction to ZBrush (Examples of output/Industry usage)
  • The ZBrush user interface and tools
  • ZBrush workflow
  • ZBrush pipeline (integrating with other applications)
  • Introduction to Zspheres
  • Creating 3d characters/creatures using Zspheres
  • Detailing 3d characters/creatures
  • Texturing 3d characters/creatures

Pre-requisite
Basic modeling practices such as Polygon modeling and UV Unwrapping. If you don't have this experience you will need to enrol in either of our two short courses - 3D Studio Max Fundamentals or Introduction to Maya prior to commencing this course.

Create the games YOU want to play using the latest Unity games development software in this intensive 12-week short course.

Unity supports all levels-from simple 2D games through to full 3D games with physics. You are encouraged to work on your own ideas and with expert advice and guidance from our games practitioners you'll find this an amazingly rewarding program.

Project tasks are designed to cater for all levels of experience. Beginners, with great idea's but without the experience and tools to see it come to life, through to Advanced for those with existing programming skills.

All projects include 3D, Physics, Sound design, Multi-touch and Art pipelines from various 3rd party applications. They do not cover native iPhone development.

This course is suitable for iPhone/iPod touch/iPad and Android devices.

We supply Apple hardware but feel free to bring along your own Apple or Android (v2.0 and above) based device.

hello, i am wondering if there are any courses like this in Brisbane for a beginner, as well could i please be provided with an email so i can chat to someone about my career choice im 16 and need some guidance, i know i ant to go into the 3D graphic design i just need some knowledge on how to get experience and a better know how to become a good worker in this area . if anyone could help i would HIGHLY appreciate it all.
