Character Animator

ABOUT THE ROLE

ZERO ONE is on the hunt for an animator with a solid foundation and understanding of animation fundamentals, weight and movement.

The successful candidate will have experience animating both realistic and stylised characters and humans, be self-motivated, organised and a good fit for our team.

The role is part-time, with the intention of full-time employment in the future.

MAIN DUTIES include but are not limited to

- Set up a base to work from using stepped keys

- Animating from block-out to polish stages under the direction

- Be able to manage their time and work to a deadline

- Animating in Blender

REQUIREMENTS

- At least 3 years professional experience working as an animator

- Be an avid learner and respond well to direction

- Have problem solving skills and be able to offer solutions

- Reliable and good sense of humour.

BONUS SKILLS

- Game engine animation integration experience

- Creating blend shapes

- Blender animation

- Games Industry experience

- VFX/Technical animation

- Hard body animation

- Basic understanding of muscle anatomy and how they're affected by key poses(this is if they're creating the blend shapes)

- Experience animating Super heroes

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. This is a part time position with the possibility for a full time role in the future.
