Grinding Gear Games are seeking a Localisation Producer, focusing on the quality assurance of our ongoing translation efforts. This role involves coordinating closely with our remote team of translators and managing content needed for translation.

Location: On-site in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand
Relocation assistance (for the right candidate, if needed)
Full-time position - 40 hours a week

The position includes the following duties:

● Manage localisation information using Excel and Google Suite spreadsheets
● Coordinate with language translation teams, maintaining ongoing communication with them, providing them work and resources, and finding answers for their requests
● Testing new Path of Exile content and features to find issues especially with translated content
● Ensuring the translations are accurate and communicating any problems to the translation and development teams through our issue tracking software
● Following up on the state of these problems and working with translators and developers to resolve them
● Liaise with shareholder translation teams to make sure new localisations are relevant and accurate
● Support producers in any other requests related to production work
● Record keeping

We are seeking someone with:

● At least 1000 hours of experience collectively with our games, Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2.
● Previous experience in a translation / localisation capacity
● Familiarity working in software or IT production environments
● Familiarity with regular expressions (Regex), scripting, or data processing
● A fan of Path of Exile or the ARPG genre of gaming
● Basic Photoshop skills
