Another VTuber project from earlier this year, this was a personal project where my goal was to learn applying realistic face tracking to a non human character.
This was a commissioned project of a Twilight Princess inspired 3D VTubing avatar. My first time creating a VTuber, so I learnt a lot and enjoyed bringing the character to life!
Recently completed VTuber commission of a cute little Jerboa Knight! Was a pleasure to work on such a fun character and I learnt a couple of new things about stylized shaders and rendering along the way.
The Ouya kickstarter campaign has already exceeded the expectations of many, despite only starting up just a week ago. At the moment, Ouya has received over $5 million dollars worth of supporter backing and has another three weeks left to bring in even more funds. The momentous enthusiasm for the new Android-based console has been equally met with a fair amount of criticism and scepticism from many in the games industry, but it has a staunch supporter in at least one Australian games…
Halfbrick Studio's popular Fruit Ninja game is proving to be a serious cash cow for the Brisbane based games developer. In addition to the licensing deals for Fruit Ninja related T-shirts, Gummy Candy & Fruit Snacks, plush toys, and now a comic series, the actual game itself is bringing in some considerable bank every month for both the free and paid mobile versions.
Speaking to Halfbrick CMO, Phil Larsen, Adage.com has some interesting numbers on the kind of money Fruit Ninja makes a month…

I'm looking to make contact with a programmer in the Melbourne area while programmers from other states are welcome too for the purpose of developing an iPhone app. I'm a 3D artist and I'd like to develop an app idea I've been working on in my free time.
This iPhone app will be for a niche market with special emoticon graphics and designs. The app will allow users to create emoticons, for people who love to chat and share them with others. The app will involve social interactive components,…

The two-day forum was host to a whole bunch of developer talks and panel discussions including one to one conversations with international developer superstars, Warren Spector and Tim Schafer.
The panel discussions involved some of the local games developer greats on a range of interesting topics…

Catch The Ark aims to push the endless-runner genre further, so expect fast paced obstacle dodging and a whole bunch of coin collecting, as well as some mini-bosses and dangerous creatures thrown in the mix as well. The visuals are coming along extremely nicely too and the game features three cute characters who command a raft in…
