I've been in the games industry for over 9 years, and as the Lead Game Designer of Buy Somewhere, I use my experience in game design, production and narrative design to craft an upcoming location-based "Monopoly in the real world" game.
Over the years, I've developed games in a wide variety of genres, platforms, scopes and business models, recently leading the design team on The Sims FreePlay at EA Melbourne and on Drakensang Online at Bigpoint GmbH. For 3 years, I also taught storytelling in games at a tertiary level and have mentored aspiring game designers through schools, internship, and other programs. I enjoy public speaking and have done that at a variety of events, including GCAP and PAX Australia.
Nominated on the 2016 MCV Pacific Most Influential Women in Games list, I care about helping diverse teams collaborate on the best creative solutions for their projects. I've done so on 3 continents and always travel with the secret recipe for her hair colour.
