6 years of experience working with trilingual (English, Portuguese and Spanish) community/social media management in the games industry, for companies all over the world -USA, Europe, Canada, South Korea, China, Brazil, among others. The brands I’ve worked with include games such as Watch Dogs (Ubisoft), World of Tanks, World of Warplanes (Wargaming), Smite (Hi-Rez) and the MU franchise (Webzen), to mention a few. The jobs comprised:
-Community management: administering, moderating and gathering data from official pages (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.), forums and live chat rooms. Creating content and engaging customers on social media and on the internet as a whole -advertising, wikis for the games, and so on.
-Marketing: implementing marketing strategies aimed at, but not restricted to, the community/social media level. Gathering market research and data to tailor marketing strategies. Monitoring and gathering online feedback to alter the marketing strategy accordingly.
-Testing the games before they were launched, addressing technical issues such as detecting bugs.
-Customer service: answering tickets through Zendesk and other platforms -from technical, to game-related issues. Handling billing and players’ purchases as a whole, as well as solving issues and developing solutions for the sector.
-Training and supervising new personnel and any related activity.
-I speak fluent English and Portuguese. I also understand, read and write in Spanish.
-I'm tech-savvy. I'm familiar with the fundamental concepts of CSS, HTML, PHP, SEO, as well as the basics on server administration -cPanel, WHM, etc..
-Bachelor's degree in biology (molecular specialization). 2+ years of work experience in genetics and biotechnology, giving me a solid knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
