i know that there are quite a few Max users here, so i tought you may be interested in this plugin that i saw earlier tonight. http://202.51.162.59/home.asp it is called CAT, and it is a character rigging, animation toolset for Max. a free demo version is available for dl.

Shit - if this is what I think it is, a mate of mine I went to Uni with in NZ developed it. The good thing is that Phil is a 3d artist as well as programmer and the early version I saw a year or so back reflected this - really easy to use.
He's (and the others) have put a shitload of work into it -- I hope it does really well.
