Tantalus - a veteran independent development studio based in Melbourne, is looking for an experienced Flash Artist for a contract role working on a AAA Next Gen title. The role is short-term, lasting approximately 6 weeks full time, and starts as soon as possible.

Tantalus - QA Tester (Contract)

Only applicants with previous games QA and iOS QA experience will be considered.

The state of Australian game development at Gametech 2011

Laura Parker from Gamespot AU has covered one of the panels from the two day Gametech 2011 conference which ended yesterday. The panel consisted of Tony Lawrence (general manager at 2K Marin and president of the Game Developers Association of Australia), Tom Crago (CEO at Tantalus Interactive), and Cari Callewaert (lead unity evangelist at Unity Technologies).

During the Game Connect: Asia Pacific 2008 conference held in Brisbane, Managing Director of Animal Logic, Zareh Nalbandian, let it slip that local developers Tantalus and Krome Studios were working on the game adaptation of the next animated Animal Logic feature during his talk about the convergence of movies and video games.
