Here are the results for The GDAA Game Developer 2009 Awards, announced at the Awards dinner night at Crown Tower on Monday night in Melbourne! Congratulations to those who won their categories, as well as all those who were nominated. Here we go:

However since they ignore a number of studios it doesn't really mean anything.

Dunno how I didn't spot that one, thanks for the correction. Will have to check out the film footage I took it from, as I copied it straight off GDAA's slide at the awards night.

Ah yes, the old elusive Powderkeg. I might take this proof-reading oportunity to also mention 'caberet' is actually spelt 'CabAret'. The game doesn't actually have anything to do with lurid dancing british army officers.

They also got the name of the guy who made the Best Unsigned Game wrong on those slides. Which is odd because it was all fine in the brochures during the conference itself. Those slides were the first of a long string of mis-spellings and misunderstandings.

We had a good laugh as we sat in the audience.

I haven't heard the audio for Transmission's Heroes over Europe, but I've been listening to the soundtrack of Sidhe's Shatter game, and it is *awesome*. Absolutely phenomenal stuff!!!
