About Us:
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Liminal VR is a multi-award winning digital studio delivering emotionally moving augmented, mixed and virtual reality experiences in areas as diverse as training and simulation, sales and marketing, brand activations, education, research and development, corporate wellness and clinical applications.
About You:
You are a talented 3D animator with generalist skills such as rigging and 3d modelling, who has experience working in Unity game engine.
You will possess:
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role (we will consider graduates with impressive portfolios)
- Experience animating with Maya or Blender, including facial dialogue and lip-sync animation.
- Excellent understanding of rigging and skin weighting. Ability to create facial rigs for characters using blendshapes.
- Confident using Unity 3D game engine to implement animation.
- Understanding of modelling, texturing and lighting for mobile / VR games.
- Be a permanent resident of Australia and have a right to work here full time
Highly Regarded:
- Experience working with and retargeting motion capture data
- Knowledge of Zbrush, Substance, Marvelous designer, Character creator, Iclone.
- Technical art or animation skills such as creating shaders and tools.
- Experience using After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator or Indesign
- Experience Collaborating on projects using GIT
- Ability to code in C# for Unity game development

- Ability and determination to think laterally and solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work alone and as part of a team
