The tasks associated with this position will vary during different stages of the production cycle and different projects. They will include at least the following:
Gamespot has an interview with Sierra's Chris Mahnken about Irrational Game's new title, Tribes: Vengeance. Chris reveals how long T:V has been in the works, and the reasons why it's adding a single player experience to the franchise, along with the decision to go with the Unreal engine. Find out more at Gamespot.
PC Games has an interview with some Irrational and Vivendi people on the Tribes: Vengeance title.. You get to find out a bit more in regards to the single player story, a little bit on multiplayer, and also the technology. There's also some cool concept art and an ingame screenshot there as well. Head on this way for the article.
Congrats to the Irrational people on getting nominated for the Excellence in Visual Art award at the IGDA on their Freedom Force game. I'm sure it's enough to be nominated for such a prestigious award, but we've got our fingers crossed for ya!! :)
