Of course, the sensible thing would be to use an existing game engine, but after a certain point, there is some curiosity if learning and fighting yet another game engine is really quicker that just writing something from scratch.
This is a concept sketch done for the game Orcward that I have been working on this last trimester. Orcward is a transport management game with a fantasy twist where the player manoeuvres a clan of Orcs throughout floating sky islands and to the battleground below. This image was an initial concept for how the islands stations would work and can also be found in the Orcward art bible I created to accompany the game.

Triangle Circle Square is a unique puzzle game where you must touch the falling shapes in a specific order
If you touch a triangle, circle and then square you will get a point. There are 99 possible points to get throughout the 3 minute challenge

If a triangle, circle or square touches the bottom, it is game over
If you touch the wrong shape, it is game over
