As part of work on the new, proprietary project 'Vitriol', created in cooperation with 11bit studios (www.foolstheory.com/project-vitriol), Fool's Theory is looking for experienced candidates to work remotely or on-site for the position of:

GAMEPLAY DESIGNER (regular / senior)

If you join us you will: 

  • prototype systems creating gameplay loops,
  • create combat systems, trade, equipment, AI trees,
  • design and implement the skills of NPC characters in the game, based on the ability system, 
  • work on maintaining the balance, 
  • cooperate with the Quest Design department in supporting the game's narrative by mechanics,
  • cooperate with the departments of Art.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • very good knowledge of Blueprints system in Unreal Engine 4,
  • familiarity with AI construction trees,
  • familiarity with Gameplay Ability System in UE4,
  • ability to maintain order in files,
  • knowledge of English that allows reading technical documentation with understanding (min. B2),
  • independence in performing tasks,
  • good communication skills and willingness to work in a group,
  • ability to solve problems.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • experience in running RPG sessions,
  • participation in game jams.
