This is a WIP of a hand I am modeling,
plan to add quite a bit more to this piece.
The middle of the palm is a bit over done, will tidy this up
tomorrow =)

I did this late last year, realised that I didnt add it here:
Wanted to do something different over the weekend, so I played around with my old NSX model. I used some lattices to deform the car and wheels. I used a custom lighting system I'm
mucking round with. There was minimal work in PS.
Modeled in Maya and rendered in Mental Ray (as usual)
I set it up around this aspect ratio so it would work well on my new phone at 240 x 320.
If anyone wants that version, I can post it :)

Felt like a fun little project today.
I took this from concept to what you see here all in one day.
I know there may be some imperfections etc, but wanted to see
what I could do in a day. Will add some more finer details at a later
point and some better renders.
Just had some fun with this :D

Here is my latest WIP
Its a warrior beetle with a comms unit.
I came up with the idea and my friend did the concept drawing.
I've spent about 12 hours on it so far, lots to go.
A lot of it is only blocked out...

Made in 1 week, a stylised Bobcat digger.
7964 polys 1x 1024 texture map & 1x 1024 normal map.
Main thing I wanted to change was the tires. =)

(I know I could make the maps better but have other work to get onto)

I've modelled this mag for a car I've been working on, unfortunately
this car is on the back-burner for other projects,
but have just had some fun shading it. Yes I know the tyre is very
low profile (this is intentional).

Here is the car I've just finished. Its the first low poly object I've made, but I think it turned out alright.

I was asked to make this car to these specs:
- 2500 for the body
- 500 per wheel
- (1x) 512x512 texture

All the images are snap shots of the viewport, not rendered with lighting and shadowing. =)
