Senior Game Designer

Spunge Games is part of a collective of companies with shared ownership and complementary skills, including Liquid Animation, one of Australia’s top animation studios and Liquid Interactive, a leading AR/VR developer. Spunge Games was established in 2014 and is a Brisbane based mobile game studio who rose to critical success with the worldwide number one hit ‘Faily Brakes’ and Faily Rider games. SENIOR GAME DESIGNER

2D/3D Character Artist/Animator in Melbourne

We are looking for a talented 2D/3D Artist with a focus on Character Animator to join our growing Games Studio based in Melbourne. You will work on existing products and new products. You must be very passionate about creating games.

You will be working with the Art Director, Arts and Engineering teams to create inspiring designs for our current and upcoming game titles for Mobile and PC.

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Grinding Gear Games is searching for a VFX Artist to work on the award-winning online Action RPG Path of Exile.

You will develop realtime effects from concept to implementation and work to maintain a consistent aesthetic across all of the effects in the game and related mediums such as trailers and web. The ideal candidate has a firm grasp of color, texture, timing and impact as relates to FX. We are looking for an avid gamer that has a deep understanding of our game Path of Exile and its themes.

Game Lighting Artist

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Grinding Gear Games is searching for a Game Lighting Artist to work on the award-winning online Action RPG Path of Exile.

You will create real-time environments and moods, and work to maintain a consistent aesthetic across all of the areas in the game and related material (e.g. trailers). The ideal candidate has a firm grasp of color, materials and light as it relates to level design in games. We are looking for an avid gamer that has a deep understanding of our game Path of Exile and its themes.

Senior Animator

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Grinding Gear Games is searching for a Senior Animator to work on the award-winning online Action RPG Path of Exile.

A Senior Animator is responsible for creating animation assets and working with the Creative Director, Designers and Riggers to realise a character, monster or special effect.

Skills: 

C++ User Interface Programmer

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Grinding Gear Games is searching for a C++ User Interface Programmer to work on the award-winning online Action RPG Path of Exile.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of modern C++
Three years of game programming experience

Pluses:
Experience with our game, Path of Exile
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
Experience working on a shipped game title

Skills: 

Experienced Unity Developer to work on Steam release and Optimisation(FT or PT)
