    Reported by Aussie-Nintendo, the Wii has sold over 49,000 games for the console, and that’s excluding the bundled Wii Sports! The top selling Wii game – which also topped the charts of all consoles last week – is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, with Red Steel taking second place on the Wii top-selling list.

    Mygen reports that, in accordance to Gfk Australia’s statistics, the Xbox 360 has had its biggest grossing week in console hardware sales since it hit Australia’s shores in March. According to figures, in the week ending on the 13th of December, the 360 console generated AU$2.6 million in the lead-up to Christmas.     Sure, Wii have a problem, but Nintendo are now recalling and replacing current Wiimote wrist straps. Nintendo UK and Nintendo America have both announced it, though nothing official from Australian offices as yet (expect an update as soon as we hear word). A comparison photo can be found here, the noticeable differences being a slightly thicker cord and a hard plastic loop. I'll be keeping my original strap as an excuse to upgrade to a projector.     The IGN team have gotten their hands on an early version PSP title called Cube, being developed by New Zealand's Metia Interactive.
