Gamerthon, Australia’s largest and most prestigious game tournament is on next week at acmi; with over $50,000 worth of cash and prizes up for grabs across a range of games. Games include, Gran Turismo 5, Guitar Hero 3, Dead or Alive, FIFA 08, Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 and Counter Strike. For a list of dates and times check out the acmi website.
Nor sure how relevant this will be to Sumea readers, but this school holidays acmi is running regular free sessions to educate parents on today’s gaming environment their children are active in. Topics include navigating games, online games and the all important, game classification. This is part of holiday family activities currently on at acmi.
