3D Artist

Mr. Rosemary (3D VTuber)

Recently completed VTuber commission of a cute little Jerboa Knight!
Was a pleasure to work on such a fun character and I learnt a couple of new things about stylized shaders and rendering along the way.
Made in Blender and Unity with Warudo used for real time tracking.

You can view some videos of the tracking and animation in action at the ArtStation link below.

Algernon (3D VTuber)

Journal Category

Another VTuber project from earlier this year, this was a personal project where my goal was to learn applying realistic face tracking to a non human character.

The character is my own design, he is an alien primate based on the crowned lemur and mandrill. I gave him some big whiskers to experiment with areas of expression outside the main facial features.

I've shared some of the character renders here but you can check my ArtStation to view the face tracking and more breakdowns.

The Moth Scholar (3D Vtuber)

Journal Category

This was a commissioned project of a Twilight Princess inspired 3D VTubing avatar. My first time creating a VTuber, so I learnt a lot and enjoyed bringing the character to life!

I was responsible for the modeling, texturing, rigging, animating and tracking integration. It was created primarily in Blender and Substance painter, with final setup in Unity and Warudo. The avatar utilizes ARkit perfect sync for face tracking using an iphone.

You can see more breakdowns and some videos of the tracking and animation via my ArtStation link :)

Hellboy Fan Art

Journal Category

Hellboy fan-made project. I focused on creating a game-ready character with an emphasis on anatomy, material definition, and clean topology. Special attention was given to achieving strong silhouette readability and believable surface detail while maintaining efficiency for real-time use.

Sculpted in ZBrush, clothes were created in Marvellous Designer, retopologized and UVs in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 4.

Low Poly Desert

Journal Category

for my first CGI Environments assignment, i was required to make a stylized low poly outdoor environment
i decided on an alien crash site, inspired by Monument Valley and the Australian outback - and im really happy with how it turned out

ClickedIn - Games Project Assignment

Journal Category

3D renders i created to be used in my games project assignment for uni - we made a dating sim taking place at a university
the style was inspired by Richard Tongeman's ArtStation posts while working on Ring of Fire
the bedroom renders are what im most proud of
the painting in the bedroom renders were illustrated by @blorbel on Instagram, whereas the other posters were ai generated in 2022 (back when they were nonsensical images, not stolen from artists)

Max Mustard - Asteroids

Journal Category

Set of stylized Asteroids created as environment props for "Max Mustard" From Toast Interactive.

These assets were among the first I created during my time with Toast Interactive. For these Asteroids I was responsible for Modelling, Unwrapping, Sculpting & Texturing the asset.

With the asteroid set we wanted to get a lot of versatility out of a few variations (1.5m, 3m, 16m), sculpting these assets was a blast!

Max Mustard - Targets

Journal Category

Prop Model of a target & target activated blockade wall used in "Max Mustard" by Toast Interactive.

I was responsible for modelling, sculpting & texturing these assets which are used in several mini-games and levels throughout the game.

Max Mustard is a Virtual Reality platforming game so for all assets created for the game we had to be highly conscious of optimizing the asset for performance. As an artist it is always a joy watching people play the levels these assets are used in and trying to take them out!

Takeshita Street - Harajuku - Panel 2

Journal Category

Part of a 3 panel series of Japanese Tokyo Architecture. In this second panel, we explore the streets of Takeshita in Harajuku. A popular tourist destination for fashion, crepes and sweet sweet candy!

Everything was created from originally from reference from the streets of Takeshita. Slight variation is applied as I can't be 1:1. I used engines like Blender Eevee, Vray and Unreal to create the different shots, using what better suited the situation. I did all the geometry however in Maya. I utilised Quixel assets for this project and a few sketchfab dogs

Newton - Character Sculpt

Journal Category

This was my first character design and model, the brief was to design a character who was a scientist.

Upon completing my university degree and revising my portfolio, I made the decision that the original character asset that I created was not portfolio-worthy so decided to re-model Newton based on the same concept but with a more stylised approach.

Texturing coming soon!
