South Australian Attorney General, Michael Atkinson, has announced that he is stepping down from his position to make way for "new blood" and to devote more time to family. Atkinson made the announcement this morning, according to Adelaide Now.
While Atkinson will remain in parliament until 2014, his enduring reign as the South Australian Attorney General and main road-block for the greatly needed R-18+ rating classification for games in Australia is now over.

Rockstar promised a big reveal on Team Bondi's L.A Noire in the March edition of Gameinformer, and it looks like someone was quite quick with the scan button as pictures of the magazine feature quickly spread around various gaming sites.

One of the few local studios experiencing healthy growth during the current industry downturn is New Zealand's Sidhe Interactive. If I can recall the last Game Connect:Asia Pacific, Sidhe were the only studio that I knew of who were actively hiring during the conference late last year.
Stuff.co.nz is reporting that Sidhe have put on yet another 20 employees this year, bringing the sum up to near 120 staff members. Not bad, considering it's been the bleakest period in the Australasian game…
